Parent & Caregiver Support Services

Connect with other families who understand the challenges of living with sickle cell disease. Our support groups provide a safe space for parents and caregivers to share experiences, exchange resources, receive emotional support, and build lasting community connections through in-person and virtual meetings

Care Coordination & Hospital Support

Navigate healthcare with confidence through partnerships with hospital social workers and care coordinators. We help families access medical resources, coordinate care plans, connect with specialists, and overcome barriers to receiving quality healthcare services.

Educational Advocacy & Workshops

Empower your family with knowledge about educational rights and accommodations. Our workshops cover 504 Plans, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), school advocacy, attendance accommodations, and transition planning to help students with sickle cell disease succeed academically. Prepare adolescents for a successful transition from pediatric to adult healthcare. Our transition guidance programs help teens develop self-advocacy skills, understand disease management responsibilities, navigate adult healthcare systems, and build independence.

Our caregiver toolkits include symptom tracking logs, medication schedules, emergency preparedness folders, appointment organizers, and educational resources to help families stay organized and informed.
